Welcome to the Autumn and Winter terms at Our Place. Each month is written on its own coloured page now, with a separate neon sheet for our October Half Term activities. So have a careful look through everything, and remember that early sign ups usually guarantee you a place. We run a crèche for all of our seminars and workshops, but you must sign up in advance - both for the activity and for the crèche.

As ever, we would really like to focus on improving the academic success and school experience for children who are looked after and adopted. If your child could benefit from some individual tuition, please give us a ring to see how we can work this out for you.

We are pleased to co-sponsor a workshop at Our Place with CCS Adoption and look forward to a talk form Maggie Pitts on traumatised children in October.

Happily Sue Lytton will be joining our inter-country adopters for a coffee morning in November. She will be delighted to visit with many of you again.

In response to parents and carers asking for more activities for them to enjoy while chatting and relaxing together, we have two exciting days planned this autumn: glass mosaics in September and felt making in October.

National Adoption week runs between 30^th October and 6^th November. Our Tots groups and After School group will run special programmes to celebrate adoption during this week.

Our Tots group is growing and our After School group is being enlarged as of the autumn. Do let us know early on if you want to have your child(ren) involved in either of these groups so that we can make appropriate plans.
